The Chevrolet Avalanche merges the style and comfort of a SUV with the cargo space of a pick up. To go along with the pick up style, the avalanches midgate provides extra space between the cabin and bed, providing extra storage space. The standard 5 foot bed with a 3 inch box comes with removable cargo covers and storage compartments placed along the outside of the cargo box.

The Avalanche is offered in 3 different trim styles; Avalanche LS, with 40/20/40 split row folding bench seat and 60/40 split-reclining back bench seat. Avalanche LT, front row bucket seats with six way driver and power front seats. Avalanche LTZ, power adjustable peddles Bose surround sound system, remote starter, and rear parking assistance. All models are equipped with a 5.3-liter V8 and a four-speed automatic transmission. Styles with 2 wheel drive are equipped a 320 horsepower engine and 340 pound-feet of torque. Four-wheel-drive Avalanches have a V8 310 hp engine and 335 lb-ft of torque.
